Colorado Edge Soccer Club Fields

The Stenger Soccer and Long Lake Complexes are home to the Colorado Edge Soccer Club. The Stenger Complex is a 64 acre facility (see image below) and Long Lake ranch (see image below) currently has two full size fields. The Stenger Soccer Complex was built in 1978 and maintained for 20 years by the Arvada Soccer Association. Recently, Stenger and Long Lake Ranch was preserved through an Open Space acquisition and is now owned and maintained by the City of Arvada and managed by the North Jeffco Park and Recreation District. The maintenance for Long Lake Ranch and Stenger Soccer Complex is funded primarily by North Jeffco. There are plans in place to add a synthetic turf field through US soccer foundation and open space grants awarded to the Colorado Edge in early 2006. Plans for more synthetic and natural turf fields at Long Lake ranch as well as a new Garrison Street indoor facility are in planning stages.
