ARVADA (CO) – Hi Country Wire and Telephone, in partnership with IP 5280, has been selected to implement a SIP trunk pilot program for Northern Illinois University. The program will begin this month, and is scheduled to run until January, 2010. If successful, this pilot will pave the way for Northern Illinois to replace all traditional dial tone services with modern voice over IP technology (VoIP).

ARVADA – Hi Country Wire and Telephone completed the implementation of a video conferencing solution for Geoeye, a leading provider of satellite and aerial imagery as well as geospatial information. The solution enables Geoeye staff at their four major U.S. sites to conduct video collaboration. Additionally with the addition of the Polycom V2IU dynamic firewall potential and existing clients are also able to securely collaborate with Geoeye staff.
