HCWT completes hotel phone system upgrade for the prestigous Stanley Hotel

ARVADA – Hi Country Wire and Telephone announced completion of the project to help the Stanley Hotel ownership connect their new Villas to the hotel’s existing guest services by rennovating their hotel phone system and reducing the cost of their voice T1 services.

The primary objective of the project work was to enable the new Overlook Villas, offered by the hotel, to be included in the phone and information technology services offered by the hotel. The expansion of the hotel’s Avaya Definity and Guestworks system enabled the new Villas to be incorporated into the hotel’s guest and information technology services without the need of a huge phone system upgrade. The Qwest network review performed by HCWT enabled the hotel to net a $500 savings per month on their existing voice T1 services.

Hotel management have anticipated an increase in requests for the Villas, which fantastic views of the Colorado Rockies and of Rocky Mountain National Park, since they are now connected to the Hotel’s services. The upgrade of the phone system enabled the hotel to expand its current 138 room layout to include telephony and guest service for the 48 new Overlook Villas which are adjacent to the main hotel building. Guests that choose to stay at the villas can now access all the services that one would expect as if they were staying in the main hotel. The Avaya Guestworks system enables the provision and accounting for all the hotel telephony guest services.
