HCWT installs a ShoreTel system for ifoothills
The technology was demonstrated along with solutions from Avaya and Cisco and selected based upon its desktop integration and simplicity to operate. The implementation was done on an expedited basis after the phone system failure at the Foothills Golf course.
ShoreTel
“The ShoreTel system meets the current and future needs of our District”, states District IT Manager Christopher Lyons. “And Hi Country has done a good job of implementing the solution for us on an expedited basis. They have a great deal of small government and recreation district experience and this has allowed for a smooth transition since they understand our unique needs at each recreation site. They offered us reduced ShoreTel GSA pricing that we did not know we qualified for as a Colorado Special Governmental District.”
Components of the ShoreTel system will be implemented at the Districts 8 major sites and will leverage the District’s existing Cisco wired and wireless networking infrastructure. Mr. Lyons states, “another great recommendation from Hi Country was the implementation of PowerDsine mid-span power units that prevented us from having to replace our network switches. The units are very low cost and just sit in between the network switch and the phone.”
