ARVADA – Hi Country Wire and Telephone announced today that it has completed a VoIP communications and networking solution for the Apex Park and Recreation District.

The solution will ultimately save this district upwards of $40,000 per year in communications and network expenses as it has enabled the district the ability to move beyond the legacy Centrex Plus service it has depended on for inbound and outbound phone service and station to station calls between its primary locations. The new Nortel BCM communications solution allows for VoIP voice traffic between four Nortel BCM50 and one Nortel BCM400 communication servers, retains the districts centralized voice mail configuration, and now provides all district staff on the network to get inbound caller-ID.
